Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue E. Taylor is an American producer and actor, is well-known for her role in the movie Ray Undercover Brother as well as on The Mentalist. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in African-American Studies from Brown University as well as an MFA in Acting from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. Aunjanue is l. Ellis, an American actor and producer who has performed in theatre and TV and films as well, is active in both the film and theater screen. Her acting journey began as a theater actress and then appeared in several television series and independent and mainstream films. Her most well-known role was Miranda Shaw, a character who appeared on ABC's Quantico. On BET's amazing series The Book of Negroes she played the role of Ariel. She did not only be praised by critics for her role but also received a few awards and nominations. In 1995 she debuted in the role of Ariel on stage in The Tempest. On Broadway she's appeared on stage in Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Seeking the Genesis and Joe Turner's Come and Gone. In her film career her most well-known roles are parts like Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express or The Help. On television, her part in the ABC's crime drama High Incident is well known.
