Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports when she was 14 years old. She studied kickboxing, boxing and wrestling before she made her debut appearance as an amateur at WCFC before Jaimee Nievera. Ladd built on this victory and began a 3 fight win streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents within the first round of all fights. After that, she returned to WCFC where she defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia B beghian and Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Ladd recovered from this loss and defeated Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight one. Aspen began her career in the year 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011 and won via first-round TKO. Invicta Fc16 was Aspen's first fight in the Bantamweight division. She beat Amanda Cooper with an armbar in second round. Aspen used her superior wrestling skills to take down McGill and ended her via third round TKO(elbows as well as punches). She next fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 in the weight class of catchweight(138.1lb) because Ladd did not reach her weight, but Aspen dominated Hoy and defeated her in the second round by KO. Ladd's win was a majority victory, and the Fight of the Night award was awarded to the two fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within just 16 seconds, ending her win streak. Then she bounced back and defeated Yana Kunitskaya during the third round at UFC in ESPN 7. She fought Norma Dumont as a substitute in her last fight with the UFC at UFC Fight Night 195. She lost the fight via unanimous decision.
